Al-Adiyat
-
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. By those who transgress, panting, who strike the spark through their clashes, who launch the assault at dawn, stirring up the dust, to plunge thereby into the heart of a host! Man is, toward his Guardian, rebelliously ungrateful, and he is himself a witness to that, and for the love of wealth he is fierce.i 8
بسم ٱلله ٱلرحمن ٱلرحيم وٱلعديت ضبحا فٱلموريت قدحا فٱلمغيرت صبحا فأثرن به نقعا فوسطن به جمعا إن ٱلإنسن لربه لكنود وإنه على ذلك لشهيد وإنه لحب ٱلخير لشديد -
Does he not know that when what is in the graves is overturned, and what is in the breasts is drawn out, their Guardian, that Day, will be perfectly informed about them? 11
أفلا يعلم إذا بعثر ما في ٱلقبور وحصل ما في ٱلصدور إن ربهم بهم يومئذ لخبير
