سورة 91

Ash-Shams

In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. By the sun and its morning brightness! By the moon when it follows it! By the day when it displays it! By the night when it covers it! By the sky and what built it! By the earth and what spread it! By a Self, and what proportioned it, then inspired it with its transgression and its righteousness! He has succeeded who purifies it, and he has failed who buries it.i 10
بسم ٱلله ٱلرحمن ٱلرحيم وٱلشمس وضحىها وٱلقمر إذا تلىها وٱلنهار إذا جلىها وٱليل إذا يغشىها وٱلسمآء وما بنىها وٱلأرض وما طحىها ونفس وما سوىها فألهمها فجورها وتقوىها قد أفلح من زكىها وقد خاب من دسىها -
The Depleters [Thamud] denied, in their transgression, when the most wretched among them rose up. The messenger of God said to them, "[Leave] the she-camel of God, and her drink!" But they denied him and harmed her. So their Guardian brought their ruin for their wrong and leveled it. 14
كذبت ثمود بطغوىهآ إذ ٱنبعث أشقىها فقال لهم رسول ٱلله ناقة ٱلله وسقيها فكذبوه فعقروها فدمدم عليهم ربهم بذنبهم فسوىها -
And He does not fear its consequence. 15
ولا يخاف عقبها 🖼
