سورة 98
۞
Al-Bayyina
-
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Those who denied among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to separate until the Clear Proof came to them:i 1
بسم ٱلله ٱلرحمن ٱلرحيم لم يكن ٱلذين كفروا من أهل ٱلكتب وٱلمشركين منفكين حتى تأتيهم ٱلبينة -
a Messenger from God, reciting purified pages, containing writings of perfect rectitude. 3
رسول من ٱلله يتلوا صحفا مطهرة فيها كتب قيمة -
And those who were given the Scripture did not become divided except after the Clear Proof came to them.i 4
وما تفرق ٱلذين أوتوا ٱلكتب إلا من بعد ما جآءتهم ٱلبينة -
And they were not commanded except to obey God, devoting to Him exclusively their Law, in true uprightness, and to maintain the Contact and give charity.i 5
ومآ أمروا إلا ليعبدوا ٱلله مخلصين له ٱلدين حنفآء ويقيموا ٱلصلوة ويؤتوا ٱلزكوة -
And that is the religion of rectitude. 5
وذلك دين ٱلقيمة -
Those who denied among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Jahannam, abiding therein forever. Those are the worst of creation.i 6
إن ٱلذين كفروا من أهل ٱلكتب وٱلمشركين في نار جهنم خلدين فيهآ أولئك هم شر ٱلبرية -
Those who believe and do righteous deeds, those are the best of creation. 7
إن ٱلذين ءامنوا وعملوا ٱلصلحت أولئك هم خير ٱلبرية -
Their reward, with their Guardian, is the gardens of Eden beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein forever. 8
جزآؤهم عند ربهم جنت عدن تجري من تحتها ٱلأنهر خلدين فيهآ أبدا -
God is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. 8
رضي ٱلله عنهم ورضوا عنه -
That is for whoever fears his Guardian. 8
ذلك لمن خشي ربه
