بسم ٱلله ٱلرحمن ٱلرحيم
Nel nome di Dio, il Tutto-Benevolo, il Benevolo.
Per il cielo delle costellazioni! E per il Giorno promesso! E per il testimone e ciò di cui si testimonia! Periscano i compagni del fossato, del fuoco riccamente alimentato, mentre erano seduti tutt'intorno, ed erano testimoni di ciò che facevano ai credenti!
وٱلسمآء ذات ٱلبروج وٱليوم ٱلموعود وشاهد ومشهود قتل أصحب ٱلأخدود ٱلنار ذات ٱلوقود إذ هم عليها قعود وهم على ما يفعلون بٱلمؤمنين شهود
E non avevano nulla contro di loro, se non che credessero in Dio, l'Onnipotente, il Degno di lode, a Cui appartiene la regalità dei cieli e della terra.
وما نقموا منهم إلآ أن يؤمنوا بٱلله ٱلعزيز ٱلحميد ٱلذي له ملك ٱلسموت وٱلأرض
E Dio è testimone di ogni cosa.
وٱلله على كل شىء شهيد
Coloro che hanno messo alla prova i credenti e le credenti, e poi non si sono pentiti, avranno certamente la pena di Jahannam e avranno la pena dell'incendio.
إن ٱلذين فتنوا ٱلمؤمنين وٱلمؤمنت ثم لم يتوبوا فلهم عذاب جهنم ولهم عذاب ٱلحريق
Coloro che hanno creduto e compiuto le opere sane avranno certamente giardini sotto i quali scorrono i fiumi.
إن ٱلذين ءامنوا وعملوا ٱلصلحت لهم جنت تجري من تحتها ٱلأنهر
Ecco il grande trionfo.
ذلك ٱلفوز ٱلكبير
Il colpo del tuo Tutore è senza dubbio severo.
إن بطش ربك لشديد
È certamente Lui che inizia e che rifà.
إنه هو يبدئ ويعيد
Ed Egli è il Molto Indulgente, l'Amoroso, il Detentore dell'Edificio,
وهو ٱلغفور ٱلودود ذو ٱلعرش
il Glorioso, che fa senza sosta ciò che vuole.
ٱلمجيد فعال لما يريد
Ti è giunto il discorso relativo agli eserciti, di Fir'awn e dei Thamud?
هل أتىك حديث ٱلجنود فرعون وثمود
Anzi, coloro che hanno rinnegato si ostinano nella smentita, e Dio li cinge da dietro.
بل ٱلذين كفروا في تكذيب وٱلله من ورآئهم محيط
Anzi, è una Lettura gloriosa, su una Tavola preservata.
