Al-Qari'a القارعة
The Day of the Crash
Summary and links in the frieze
In the frieze He is given an idea of the Crash: that Day, the balances decide between a satisfying existence and the Abyss.
Read just before, 102 leads here: They will see the Blaze; the next sura shows the Day of the Crash, where balances decide and the Abyss is a scorching fire. 102
It leads to 100: After men scattered and the balances, the next sura announces what will come out of graves and chests, which the Guardian knows. 100

E quem te dará ideia do que é o Fragor?
Quanto àquele cujas balanças forem pesadas, ele estará numa existência satisfatória.
E quanto àquele cujas balanças forem leves, ele terá o Abismo por morada.
E quem te dará ideia do que é?
Um fogo candente.
