بسم ٱلله ٱلرحمن ٱلرحيم
Em nome de Deus, o Todo-Benevolente, o Benevolente.
Pelas que transpõem os limites, ofegantes, que acendem a faísca com os seus choques, que lançam o assalto ao amanhecer, levantando assim a poeira, e penetrando por aí no centro de uma aglomeração! O ser humano é deveras, para com o seu Tutor, de uma ingratidão rebelde, e ele é deveras, ele mesmo, testemunha disso, e pelo amor ao bem, ele é deveras veemente.
وٱلعديت ضبحا فٱلموريت قدحا فٱلمغيرت صبحا فأثرن به نقعا فوسطن به جمعا إن ٱلإنسن لربه لكنود وإنه على ذلك لشهيد وإنه لحب ٱلخير لشديد
Não sabe ele, pois, que quando o que está nas sepulturas for revolvido, e o que está nos peitos for extraído, o seu Tutor será deveras, nesse dia, Conhecedor íntimo a seu respeito?
أفلا يعلم إذا بعثر ما في ٱلقبور وحصل ما في ٱلصدور إن ربهم بهم يومئذ لخبير
