Al-A'la

Glorify the name of your Guardian, the Most High, who created and proportioned, and who measured and guided, and who brought forth the pasture, and then made it dark wisps of straw.

سبح ٱسم ربك ٱلأعلى ٱلذي خلق فسوى وٱلذي قدر فهدى وٱلذي أخرج ٱلمرعى فجعله غثآء أحوى

for He knows what is said aloud and what is hidden.

إنه يعلم ٱلجهر وما يخفى

And We will ease you toward ease.

ونيسرك لليسرى

So remind, if the reminder should benefit.

فذكر إن نفعت ٱلذكرى

He who dreads will remember, and the most wretched will keep at a distance from it, who will burn in the greatest Fire, then he will neither die therein nor live.

سيذكر من يخشى ويتجنبها ٱلأشقى ٱلذي يصلى ٱلنار ٱلكبرى ثم لا يموت فيها ولا يحيى

He has succeeded who purifies himself, and remembers the name of his Guardian, and makes the Contact.

قد أفلح من تزكى وذكر ٱسم ربه فصلى

But you prefer the near life, while the last life is better and more lasting.

بل تؤثرون ٱلحيوة ٱلدنيا وٱلءاخرة خير وأبقى
