Al-Bayyina
Divided After the Proof
بسم ٱلله ٱلرحمن ٱلرحيم
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent.
Those who disowned among the People of the Scripture and the associators were not to separate until the Clear Proof came to them:
لم يكن ٱلذين كفروا من أهل ٱلكتب وٱلمشركين منفكين حتى تأتيهم ٱلبينة
a messenger from God, reciting purified chronicles, containing upright writings.
رسول من ٱلله يتلوا صحفا مطهرة فيها كتب قيمة
And those who were given the Scripture did not become divided except after the Clear Proof came to them.
وما تفرق ٱلذين أوتوا ٱلكتب إلا من بعد ما جآءتهم ٱلبينة
And they were not commanded except to obey God, devoting the Law exclusively to Him, wholly turned toward Him, and to maintain the Contact and give pure liberality.
ومآ أمروا إلا ليعبدوا ٱلله مخلصين له ٱلدين حنفآء ويقيموا ٱلصلوة ويؤتوا ٱلزكوة
And that is the Law of uprightness.
وذلك دين ٱلقيمة
Those who disowned among the People of the Scripture and the associators will indeed be in the fire of Jahannam, abiding therein eternally. Those are the worst of those brought into existence.
إن ٱلذين كفروا من أهل ٱلكتب وٱلمشركين في نار جهنم خلدين فيهآ أولئك هم شر ٱلبرية
Those who have believed and done sound deeds, those are the best of those brought into existence.
إن ٱلذين ءامنوا وعملوا ٱلصلحت أولئك هم خير ٱلبرية
Their recompense, with their Guardian, is the Gardens of permanence beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein eternally, forever.
جزآؤهم عند ربهم جنت عدن تجري من تحتها ٱلأنهر خلدين فيهآ أبدا
God is satisfied with them, and they are satisfied with Him.
رضي ٱلله عنهم ورضوا عنه
That is for whoever dreads his Guardian.
ذلك لمن خشي ربه
