Al-Inshiqaq الانشقاق

In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. When the sky splits open, and listens to its Guardian — and it is obligated to do so —, and when the earth is extended, and casts out what is within it and empties itself, and listens to its Guardian — and it is obligated to do so.

ٮسم الله الرحمں الرحٮم ادا السما اٮسڡٮ وادٮٮ لرٮها وحڡٮ وادا الارص مدٮ والڡٮ ما ڡٮها وٮحلٮ وادٮٮ لرٮها وحڡٮ

O human being! You are indeed making your laborious way toward your Guardian, and you will meet Him.

ٮاٮها الاٮسں اٮك كادح الى رٮك كدحا ڡملڡٮه

As for the one who is given his record in his right hand, he will be reckoned an easy reckoning, and return to his people elated.

ڡاما مں اوٮى كٮٮه ٮٮمٮٮه ڡسوڡ ٮحاسٮ حساٮا ٮسٮرا وٮٮڡلٮ الى اهله مسرورا

But as for the one who is given his record behind his back, he will call for his ruin, and he will be made to burn in an inferno.

واما مں اوٮى كٮٮه ورا طهره ڡسوڡ ٮدعوا ٮٮورا وٮصلى سعٮرا

He had been elated among his people.

اٮه كاں ڡى اهله مسرورا

For his Guardian was ever All-Seeing of him.

اں رٮه كاں ٮه ٮصٮرا

No! I swear by the twilight glow, and by the night and what it enfolds, and by the moon when it becomes full! You will surely embark upon state after state.

ڡلا اڡسم ٮالسڡٯ والٮل وما وسٯ والڡمر ادا اٮسٯ لٮركٮں طٮڡا عں طٮٯ

So what is the matter with them that they do not believe? And when the Recitation is read to them, they do not prostrate?

ڡما لهم لا ٮومٮوں وادا ڡرى علٮهم الڡراں لا ٮسحدوں

Rather, those who have disowned deny, and God knows best what they keep within.

ٮل الدٮں كڡروا ٮكدٮوں والله اعلم ٮما ٮوعوں

So announce to them a painful punishment,

ڡٮسرهم ٮعداٮ الٮم

except for those who have believed and done sound deeds; theirs is a reward never held over them.

الا الدٮں امٮوا وعملوا الصلحٮ لهم احر عٮر ممٮوں
