The Ingrate, Witness to Himself

Sura 100 · 11 verses

100:1–8

In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. By those that cross the limits, panting, that strike the spark through their clashes, that launch the assault in the morning, stirring up the dust, and plunging thereby into the heart of a host! The human being is surely, toward his Guardian, rebelliously ungrateful, and he is surely himself a witness to that, and for the love of the good he is surely vehement.

Does he not know that when what is in the graves is upheaved, and what is in the chests is drawn out, their Guardian, that Day, will surely be Intimately Acquainted with them?
