Adh-Dhariyat

In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. By those that winnow, winnowing, those that bear a heavy weight, those that glide with ease, those that distribute a command: what you are promised is indeed true, and the Due will surely befall.

ٮسم الله الرحمں الرحٮم والدرٮٮ دروا ڡالحملٮ وڡرا ڡالحرٮٮ ٮسرا ڡالمڡسمٮ امرا اٮما ٮوعدوں لصادٯ واں الدٮں لوڡع

By the sky of interwoven paths! You are surely in a differing saying: turned away from it is whoever is turned away.

والسما داٮ الحٮك اٮكم لڡى ڡول محٮلڡ ٮوڡك عٮه مں اڡك

May the guessers perish, those who are plunged in a gulf, absent-minded!

ڡٮل الحرصوں الدٮں هم ڡى عمره ساهوں

They ask: "When will the Day of the Due be?" — the day they will be tried over the Fire.

ٮسلوں اٮاں ٮوم الدٮں ٮوم هم على الٮار ٮڡٮٮوں

This is what you used to seek to hasten."

هدا الدى كٮٮم ٮه ٮسٮعحلوں

They were, before that, among those who do good.

اٮهم كاٮوا ڡٮل دلك محسٮٮں

of the night to slumber,

مں الٮل ما ٮهحعوں

and, in the last hours of the night, they would implore forgiveness.

وٮالاسحار هم ٮسٮعڡروں

And in their goods there was a right for the one who asks and the one who is deprived.

وڡى امولهم حٯ للساٮل والمحروم

And on the earth there are signs for those who have certainty,

وڡى الارص اٮٮ للموڡٮٮں

Will you not then see clearly?

اڡلا ٮٮصروں

And in the sky is your provision,

وڡى السما ررڡكم

as well as what you are promised. By the Guardian of the sky and the earth, it is surely the truth, just as it is true that you utter.

وما ٮوعدوں ڡورٮ السما والارص اٮه لحٯ مٮل ما اٮكم ٮٮطڡوں

People I do not recognize."

ڡوم مٮكروں

He stole away to his household, then brought a fat calf and brought it near them, saying: "Do you not eat?"

ڡراع الى اهله ڡحا ٮعحل سمٮں ڡڡرٮه الٮهم ڡال الا ٮاكلوں

And they gave him good news of a knowledgeable boy.

وٮسروه ٮعلم علٮم

Then his wife came forward crying out, struck her face, and said: "An old, barren woman?!"

ڡاڡٮلٮ امراٮه ڡى صره ڡصكٮ وحهها وڡالٮ عحور عڡٮم

He is indeed the Wise, the All-Knowing."

اٮه هو الحكٮم العلٮم

He said: "What then is your case, O envoys?"

ڡال ڡما حطٮكم اٮها المرسلوں

They said: "We have been sent to a severed people, to send upon them stones of clay, marked with your Guardian for the excessive."

ڡالوا اٮا ارسلٮا الى ڡوم محرمٮں لٮرسل علٮهم ححاره مں طٮں مسومه عٮد رٮك للمسرڡٮں

We brought out from it those who believed, but We found in it only one house of those true to God alone; and We left therein a sign for those who fear the painful punishment.

ڡاحرحٮا مں كاں ڡٮها مں المومٮٮں ڡما وحدٮا ڡٮها عٮر ٮٮٮ مں المسلمٮں وٮركٮا ڡٮها اٮه للدٮں ٮحاڡوں العداٮ الالٮم

And in Moussa: when We sent him to Fir'awn with manifest authority, he turned his back with his support, and said: "A worker of illusion, or a deranged one."

وڡى موسى اد ارسلٮه الى ڡرعوں ٮسلطں مٮٮں ڡٮولى ٮركٮه وڡال سحر او محٮوں

So We seized him and his armies, and cast them into the deep, while he was censurable.

ڡاحدٮه وحٮوده ڡٮٮدٮهم ڡى الٮم وهو ملٮم

And in the Aad: when We sent upon them the barren wind, which spared nothing it passed over without reducing it to dust.

وڡى عاد اد ارسلٮا علٮهم الرٮح العڡٮم ما ٮدر مں سى اٮٮ علٮه الا حعلٮه كالرمٮم

And in the Thamud: when it was said to them, "Enjoy yourselves for a time," but they insolently defied the command of their Guardian, so the thunderbolt seized them while they were looking on.

وڡى ٮمود اد ڡٮل لهم ٮمٮعوا حٮى حٮں ڡعٮوا عں امر رٮهم ڡاحدٮهم الصعڡه وهم ٮٮطروں

They could neither rise up nor find help.

ڡما اسٮطعوا مں ڡٮام وما كاٮوا مٮٮصرٮں

they were a people of oversteppers.

اٮهم كاٮوا ڡوما ڡسڡٮں

and We are surely the ones who expand.

واٮا لموسعوں

what excellent arrangers!

ڡٮعم المهدوں

And of every thing, We created a pair, perhaps you will remember.

ومں كل سى حلڡٮا روحٮں لعلكم ٮدكروں

So flee to God: I am indeed to you, from Him, a clear warner.

ڡڡروا الى الله اٮى لكم مٮه ٮدٮر مٮٮں

And do not place, alongside God, another deity: I am indeed to you, from Him, a clear warner.

ولا ٮحعلوا مع الله الها احر اٮى لكم مٮه ٮدٮر مٮٮں

no messenger came to those before them without their saying: "A worker of illusion, or a deranged one."

ما اٮى الدٮں مں ڡٮلهم مں رسول الا ڡالوا ساحر او محٮوں

They are rather a people who exceed all measure.

ٮل هم ڡوم طاعوں

for the reminder benefits the believers.

ڡاں الدكرى ٮٮڡع المومٮٮں

I created the Occulted and humans only so that they obey Me.

وما حلڡٮ الحں والاٮس الا لٮعٮدوں

I do not want any provision from them, nor do I want them to feed Me.

ما ارٮد مٮهم مں ررٯ وما ارٮد اں ٮطعموں

God is the Provider, the Possessor of strength, the Unshakeable.

اں الله هو الرراٯ دو الڡوه المٮٮں

Those who did wrong will indeed have their lot, like the lot of their companions: so let them not ask Me to hasten it.

ڡاں للدٮں طلموا دٮوٮا مٮل دٮوٮ اصحٮهم ڡلا ٮسٮعحلوں

So woe to those who disown, because of their day which is promised to them.
