جلس

   • «تَفَسَّحُوا۟ فِى ٱلْمَجَٰلِسِ فَٱفْسَحُوا۟» — "to make room in assemblies, make room" (58:11)

Evidence from the text

The word occurs only once, and the sentence binds the space of the gathering to a gift of God: to those who make room for the other, it is promised "God will make room for you" (58:11). The gathering is a real place, where people sit and where space is shared; God's answer takes the measure of the gesture.
