4 kemunculan · 4 surah · kemunculan pertama 4:4

Bentuk yang tercatat : هَنِيٓـًٔۢا 3 · هَنِيٓـًۭٔا 1

Core meaning

What is consumed or received with pleasure, without harmful aftermath.

Uses

  1. هَنِيٓـًٔا → "pleasantly" : manner of eating and drinking what is granted as recompense.

    • «هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ» — "pleasantly, for what you used to do" (77:43)
    • «هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَآ أَسْلَفْتُمْ فِى ٱلْأَيَّامِ ٱلْخَالِيَةِ» — "pleasantly, for what you did in former days, in the days gone by" (69:24)
  2. هَنِيٓـًٔا مَّرِيٓـًٔا → "pleasantly and salutarily." : said of a good ceded willingly.

    • «هَنِيٓـًۭٔا مَّرِيٓـًۭٔا» — "pleasantly and healthfully" (4:4)

Evidence from the text

Three occurrences accompany the eating and drinking of the Garden, each time tied to what was done (52:19, 69:24, 77:43): the pleasure comes from a due rendered, not from enjoyment taken. The fourth (4:4) applies it to the part of the dowry that wives cede of their own accord: a good received willingly is consumed without aftertaste.

Distinctions

  • مرء — "healthfully", what does good, joined to هَنِيء in 4:4.
