Al-Infitar

When the sky is rent asunder, and when the heavenly bodies scatter, and when the seas gush forth, and when the graves are overturned, a Self will know what it has put forward and kept back.

إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتْ وَإِذَا ٱلْكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتْ وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ وَإِذَا ٱلْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌۭ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ

O human being! What has deluded you concerning your Guardian, the Generous, who created you, then proportioned you, then balanced you? In whatever form He willed, He assembled you.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلْكَرِيمِ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّىٰكَ فَعَدَّلَكَ فِىٓ أَىِّ صُورَةٍۢ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ

By no means! Rather, you deny the Due, while surely, over you are preservers, noble scribes, who know what you do.

كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِٱلدِّينِ وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَٰفِظِينَ كِرَامًۭا كَٰتِبِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ

Surely, the virtuous will be in bliss.

إِنَّ ٱلْأَبْرَارَ لَفِى نَعِيمٍۢ

And surely, the depraved will be in a Blaze; they will burn in it on the Day of the Due, and they will not be absent from it.

وَإِنَّ ٱلْفُجَّارَ لَفِى جَحِيمٍۢ يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ

And what will give you an idea of what the Day of the Due is? Then, what will give you an idea of what the Day of the Due is?

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ ثُمَّ مَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ

And the command, that Day, belongs to God.

وَٱلْأَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلَّهِ
