As-Saffat

By those that range themselves in ranks, by those who rumble with force, by those who recite the Reminder: your deity is surely one,

وَٱلصَّٰٓفَّٰتِ صَفًّۭا فَٱلزَّٰجِرَٰتِ زَجْرًۭا فَٱلتَّٰلِيَٰتِ ذِكْرًا إِنَّ إِلَٰهَكُمْ لَوَٰحِدٌۭ

Guardian of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, and Guardian of the risings.

رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَشَٰرِقِ

We have adorned the nearest heaven with the adornment of the heavenly bodies,

إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةِ ٱلْكَوَاكِبِ

and preserved it from every rebellious Diverter,

وَحِفْظًۭا مِّن كُلِّ شَيْطَٰنٍۢ مَّارِدٍۢ

who cannot listen to the sublime court, and are pelted from every side,

لَّا يَسۡمَعُونَ إِلَى ٱلْمَلَإِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٍۢ

driven away violently;

دُحُورًۭا

and they have an unceasing punishment — except him who snatches a scrap in flight: a blazing, piercing projectile then pursues him.

وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ وَاصِبٌ إِلَّا مَنْ خَطِفَ ٱلْخَطْفَةَ فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٌۭ ثَاقِبٌۭ

We indeed created them from a clinging clay.

إِنَّا خَلَقْنَٰهُم مِّن طِينٍۢ لَّازِبٍۭ

But you marvel, while they scoff;

بَلْ عَجِبْتَ وَيَسْخَرُونَ

and when they are reminded, they do not remember;

وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ لَا يَذْكُرُونَ

and when they see a sign, they redouble their scoffing,

وَإِذَا رَأَوْا۟ ءَايَةًۭ يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ

and say: "This is nothing but a manifest illusion. When we are dead, earth and bones, shall we really be raised? And our earliest forefathers too?"

وَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌۭ مُّبِينٌ أَءِذَا مُتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًۭا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ

Say: "Yes, and you will be abased."

قُلْ نَعَمْ وَأَنتُمْ دَٰخِرُونَ

It will be but a single rumbling blast, and there they are, looking on,

فَإِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجْرَةٌۭ وَٰحِدَةٌۭ فَإِذَا هُمْ يَنظُرُونَ

saying: "Woe to us, this is the Day of the Due!"

وَقَالُوا۟ يَٰوَيْلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ

"This is the Day of Separation, which you used to deny."

هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

"Gather those who did wrong, their spouses, and what they used to obey besides God, then guide them to the path of the Blaze,

ٱحْشُرُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ وَأَزْوَٰجَهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَٱهْدُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ

and halt them: they are indeed to be questioned."

وَقِفُوهُمْ إِنَّهُم مَّسْـُٔولُونَ

"What is wrong with you, that you do not help one another?"

مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ

No, that day, they are utterly submissive.

بَلْ هُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ

And they turn to one another, questioning each other.

وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ

They say: "It was you who used to come at us from the right."

قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَأْتُونَنَا عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ

They say: "No, it was you who were not believers;

قَالُوا۟ بَل لَّمْ تَكُونُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ

and we had no authority over you — you were rather a people who exceeded all measure.

وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَٰنٍۭ بَلْ كُنتُمْ قَوْمًۭا طَٰغِينَ

So our Guardian's saying has proven true against us: we shall surely taste. We made you err — we were ourselves errant."

فَحَقَّ عَلَيْنَا قَوْلُ رَبِّنَآ إِنَّا لَذَآئِقُونَ فَأَغْوَيْنَٰكُمْ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَٰوِينَ

That day, they are indeed partners in the punishment.

فَإِنَّهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ

Thus do We deal with the severed.

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

Whenever it was said to them, "There is no deity but God," they would grow proud and say: "Shall we really leave our deities for a deranged seductive orator?"

إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوٓا۟ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُوٓا۟ ءَالِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٍۢ مَّجْنُونٍۭ

No, he came with the truth, and declared the envoys veracious.

بَلْ جَآءَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

You will surely taste the painful punishment,

إِنَّكُمْ لَذَآئِقُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْأَلِيمِ

and you will be recompensed only for what you used to do — except the refined obedient ones of God:

وَمَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ اِ۬لۡمُخۡلِصِينَ

those have a known provision, savoury fruits,

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ رِزْقٌۭ مَّعْلُومٌۭ فَوَٰكِهُ

and they are honored in the Gardens of bliss, on couches, facing one another.

وَهُم مُّكْرَمُونَ فِى جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍۢ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ

A cup of spring water will be passed among them, white, delightful for those who drink it, causing no headache and no intoxication,

يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِكَأْسٍۢ مِّن مَّعِينٍۭ بَيْضَآءَ لَذَّةٍۢ لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ لَا فِيهَا غَوْلٌۭ وَلَا هُمْ عَنْهَا يُنزَفُونَ

and beside them will be companions of reserved gaze, of support, as though they were well-sheltered eggs.

وَعِندَهُمْ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ عِينٌۭ كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌۭ مَّكْنُونٌۭ

And they turn to one another, questioning each other.

فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ

One of them says: "I had an acolyte who used to say: 'Are you really one of those who declare this true? When we are dead, earth and bones, shall we really be indebted?'"

قَالَ قَآئِلٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ إِنِّى كَانَ لِى قَرِينٌۭ يَقُولُ أَءِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُصَدِّقِينَ أَءِذَا مُتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًۭا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ

He says: "Do you wish to look?" So he looked, and saw him in the midst of the Blaze.

قَالَ هَلْ أَنتُم مُّطَّلِعُونَ فَٱطَّلَعَ فَرَءَاهُ فِى سَوَآءِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ

He says: "By God, you nearly caused my fall; and were it not for my Guardian's blessing, I would have been among those brought forth.

قَالَ تَٱللَّهِ إِن كِدتَّ لَتُرْدِينِ وَلَوْلَا نِعْمَةُ رَبِّى لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلْمُحْضَرِينَ

Are we not dead, except our first death, and shall we not be punished?"

أَفَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ إِلَّا مَوْتَتَنَا ٱلْأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ

This is surely the immense triumph!

إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

It is for the like of this that those who act should act.

لِمِثْلِ هَٰذَا فَلْيَعْمَلِ ٱلْعَٰمِلُونَ

Is that a better welcome, or the tree of Zaqqoum?

أَذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌۭ نُّزُلًا أَمْ شَجَرَةُ ٱلزَّقُّومِ

We have indeed made it a trial for the wrongdoers:

إِنَّا جَعَلْنَٰهَا فِتْنَةًۭ لِّلظَّٰلِمِينَ

it is a tree that comes out at the root of the Blaze, whose spathes resemble the heads of Diverters.

إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌۭ تَخْرُجُ فِىٓ أَصْلِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ طَلْعُهَا كَأَنَّهُۥ رُءُوسُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ

They will surely eat from it and fill their bellies with it; then on top of it they will surely have a brew of boiling water.

فَإِنَّهُمْ لَءَاكِلُونَ مِنْهَا فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنْهَا ٱلْبُطُونَ ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمْ عَلَيْهَا لَشَوْبًۭا مِّنْ حَمِيمٍۢ

Then their return will surely be to the Blaze.

ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرْجِعَهُمْ لَإِلَى ٱلْجَحِيمِ

They indeed found their ancestors astray, and rushed headlong in their footsteps.

إِنَّهُمْ أَلْفَوْا۟ ءَابَآءَهُمْ ضَآلِّينَ فَهُمْ عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِمْ يُهْرَعُونَ

And indeed, before them, most of the earlier peoples had gone astray,

وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ أَكْثَرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

and We had certainly sent warners among them.

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِم مُّنذِرِينَ

So look at what was the end of those who were warned — except the refined obedient ones of God.

فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ اِ۬لۡمُخۡلِصِينَ

and what an excellent Responder We are!

فَلَنِعْمَ ٱلْمُجِيبُونَ

We saved him and his household from the immense distress,

وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْكَرْبِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

and We made his descendants the ones who remain.

وَجَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ هُمُ ٱلْبَاقِينَ

And We left upon him, among later generations:

وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ

"Peace upon Nuh, among all beings!"

سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحٍۢ فِى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

Thus do We recompense those who do good.

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

He was among Our believing obedient ones.

إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Then We drowned the others.

ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا ٱلْءَاخَرِينَ

And Ibrahim was surely of his camp, when he came to his Guardian with an intact core, when he said to his father and his people: "What do you obey?

وَإِنَّ مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ لَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ إِذْ جَآءَ رَبَّهُۥ بِقَلْبٍۢ سَلِيمٍ إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِۦ مَاذَا تَعْبُدُونَ

Is it a distortion that you desire, deities besides God?

أَئِفْكًا ءَالِهَةًۭ دُونَ ٱللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ

What then is your presumption about the Guardian of all beings?"

فَمَا ظَنُّكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

He cast a glance at the stars, and said: "I am unwell"; so they turned their backs on him, departing.

فَنَظَرَ نَظْرَةًۭ فِى ٱلنُّجُومِ فَقَالَ إِنِّى سَقِيمٌۭ فَتَوَلَّوْا۟ عَنْهُ مُدْبِرِينَ

Then he stole away to their deities, and said: "Do you not eat? What is wrong with you, that you utter nothing?"

فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِهِمْ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنطِقُونَ

Then he turned upon them, striking with his right hand; then they came forward rushing toward him.

فَرَاغَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضَرْبًۢا بِٱلْيَمِينِ فَأَقْبَلُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ يَزِفُّونَ

He said: "Do you obey what you carve, when God created you and what you make?"

قَالَ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مَا تَنْحِتُونَ وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ

They said: "Build him a structure, and cast him into the Blaze!" They intended a scheme against him, but We made them the lowest.

قَالُوا۟ ٱبْنُوا۟ لَهُۥ بُنْيَٰنًۭا فَأَلْقُوهُ فِى ٱلْجَحِيمِ فَأَرَادُوا۟ بِهِۦ كَيْدًۭا فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْأَسْفَلِينَ

And he said: "I am going to my Guardian; He will guide me.

وَقَالَ إِنِّى ذَاهِبٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّى سَيَهْدِينِ

My Guardian, bestow on me one of those who are sound."

رَبِّ هَبْ لِى مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

So We gave him glad tidings of a forbearing boy.

فَبَشَّرْنَٰهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ حَلِيمٍۢ

you will find me, if God wills, among the patient."

سَتَجِدُنِىٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ

Thus do We recompense those who do good.

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

This was surely the manifest testing.

إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْبَلَٰٓؤُا۟ ٱلْمُبِينُ

And We ransomed him with an immense sacrifice.

وَفَدَيْنَٰهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍۢ

And We left upon him, among later generations:

وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ

"Peace upon Ibrahim!"

سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ

Thus do We recompense those who do good.

كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

He was among Our believing obedient ones.

إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

And among their descendants is one who does good, and one who manifestly wrongs himself.

وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحْسِنٌۭ وَظَالِمٌۭ لِّنَفْسِهِۦ مُبِينٌۭ

And We indeed graced Moussa and Harun, and saved them and their people from the immense distress;

وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُمَا وَقَوْمَهُمَا مِنَ ٱلْكَرْبِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

We helped them, and they were the victors.

وَنَصَرْنَٰهُمْ فَكَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْغَٰلِبِينَ

And We gave them both the explicit Scripture,

وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُمَا ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ٱلْمُسْتَبِينَ

and We guided them both along the straight path.

وَهَدَيْنَٰهُمَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ

And We left upon them both, among later generations:

وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِمَا فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ

"Peace upon Moussa and Harun!"

سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ

Thus do We recompense those who do good.

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

They were both among Our believing obedient ones.

إِنَّهُمَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

And Ilyas was surely among the envoys, when he said to his people: "Will you not guard yourselves? Do you call upon Ba'l, forsaking the best of creators,

وَإِنَّ إِلْيَاسَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ أَتَدْعُونَ بَعْلًۭا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحْسَنَ ٱلْخَٰلِقِينَ

God, your Guardian and the Guardian of your earliest forefathers?"

اَ۬للَّهُ رَبُّكُمۡ وَرَبُّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

But they denied him; so they will surely be among those brought forth — except the refined obedient ones of God.

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ اِ۬لۡمُخۡلِصِينَ

And We left upon him, among later generations:

وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ

"Peace upon Ilyasin!"

سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِلْ يَاسِينَ

Thus do We recompense those who do good.

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

He was among Our believing obedient ones.

إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

And Lut was surely among the envoys, when We saved him and his household, all of them, except an old woman among those who lingered behind; then We destroyed the others.

وَإِنَّ لُوطًۭا لَّمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ إِذْ نَجَّيْنَٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ أَجْمَعِينَ إِلَّا عَجُوزًۭا فِى ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا ٱلْءَاخَرِينَ

will you not then reason?

أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

And Younes was surely among the envoys, when he fled to the laden vessel; he took part in the drawing of lots, and was among those who were dismissed; then the fish swallowed him while he was censurable.

وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ إِذْ أَبَقَ إِلَى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُدْحَضِينَ فَٱلْتَقَمَهُ ٱلْحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌۭ

Had he not been among those who glorify, he would indeed have remained in its belly until the day they are raised.

فَلَوْلَآ أَنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسَبِّحِينَ لَلَبِثَ فِى بَطْنِهِۦٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ

So We cast him onto bare ground, while he was unwell,

فَنَبَذْنَٰهُ بِٱلْعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ سَقِيمٌۭ

and We caused a soft, cotton-like plant to grow over him.

وَأَنۢبَتْنَا عَلَيْهِ شَجَرَةًۭ مِّن يَقْطِينٍۢ

We then sent him to a hundred thousand, or more,

وَأَرْسَلْنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ مِا۟ئَةِ أَلْفٍ أَوْ يَزِيدُونَ

and they believed; so We let them enjoy for a time.

فَـَٔامَنُوا۟ فَمَتَّعْنَٰهُمْ إِلَىٰ حِينٍۢ

So consult them: does your Guardian have daughters, while they have sons?

فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَلِرَبِّكَ ٱلْبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ ٱلْبَنُونَ

Or did We create the Agents female, while they witnessed it?

أَمْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ إِنَٰثًۭا وَهُمْ شَٰهِدُونَ

Is it not that it is surely out of their own distortion that they say: "God has begotten"? They are surely liars.

أَلَآ إِنَّهُم مِّنْ إِفْكِهِمْ لَيَقُولُونَ وَلَدَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَٰذِبُونَ

Would He have chosen daughters over sons?

أَصْطَفَى ٱلْبَنَاتِ عَلَى ٱلْبَنِينَ

How do you judge?

كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ

Will you not then remember?

أَفَلَا تَذَّكَّرُونَ

Or do you have a manifest authority? Then bring your book, if you are veracious.

أَمْ لَكُمْ سُلْطَٰنٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ فَأْتُوا۟ بِكِتَٰبِكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

and the Occulted well know that they will surely be brought forth —

وَلَقَدْ عَلِمَتِ ٱلْجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ

glory be to God, above what they describe!

سُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

Except the refined obedient ones of God.

إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ اِ۬لۡمُخۡلِصِينَ

Neither you, nor what you obey, can put anyone to trial against Him, except him who is destined to burn in the Blaze.

فَإِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مَآ أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَٰتِنِينَ إِلَّا مَنْ هُوَ صَالِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ

"There is not one among us who does not have a known place,

وَمَا مِنَّآ إِلَّا لَهُۥ مَقَامٌۭ مَّعْلُومٌۭ

and we are surely those who stand in ranks, and we are surely those who glorify."

وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ ٱلصَّآفُّونَ وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ ٱلْمُسَبِّحُونَ

And they indeed used to say: "If only we had a reminder from the earlier peoples, we would have been the refined obedient ones of God."

وَإِن كَانُوا۟ لَيَقُولُونَ لَوْ أَنَّ عِندَنَا ذِكْرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ اِ۬لۡمُخۡلِصِينَ

they will soon know.

فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ

And Our word has indeed preceded in favor of Our envoys, the obedient ones: they are indeed the ones who are helped, and it is surely Our army that is victorious.

وَلَقَدْ سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ إِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ ٱلْمَنصُورُونَ وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ ٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ

So turn your back on them for a time,

فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍۢ

and watch them: they will soon see clearly.

وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ

Is it then Our punishment that they seek to hasten?

أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ

When it descends into their courtyard, how evil will be the morning of those who were warned!

فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمْ فَسَآءَ صَبَاحُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ

And turn your back on them for a time,

وَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍۢ

and watch: they will soon see clearly.

وَأَبْصِرْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ

Glory be to your Guardian, the Guardian of might, above what they describe!

سُبْحَٰنَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

And peace upon the envoys!

وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَى ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

And praise be to God, Guardian of all beings!

وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
