In the frieze Left standing for a trade, he receives the words to say to those who left.
Read just before, 63 leads here: The hypocrites wait for them to disperse; in the next sura, they disperse toward a trade and leave him standing. 63
It leads to 61: He is left standing for a trade; the next sura says that God loves those who fight in His way in ranks. 61
Closes on “By the glorious Recitation”
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Whatever is in the heavens and on the earth glorifies God, the Sovereign, the Most Holy, the All-Powerful, the Wise.
بِسۡمِ اِ۬للَّهِ اِ۬لرَّحۡمَٰنِ اِ۬لرَّحِيمِ يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي اِ۬لسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي اِ۬لۡأَرۡضِ اِ۬لۡمَلِكِ اِ۬لۡقُدُّوسِ اِ۬لۡعَزِيزِ اِ۬لۡحَكِيمِ
It is He who raised among the people without a prior Scripture a messenger from among themselves, reciting to them His signs, purifying them, and teaching them the Scripture and wisdom, although they were surely, before, in manifest error — and others among them who have not yet joined them.
هُوَ اَ۬لَّذِي بَعَثَ فِي اِ۬لۡأُمِّيِّـۧنَ رَسُولٗا مِّنۡهُمۡ يَتۡلُواْ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَيُزَكِّيهِمۡ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ اُ۬لۡكِتَٰبَ وَاَلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَإِن كَانُواْ مِن قَبۡل لَّفِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ وَءَاخَرِينَ مِنۡهُمۡ لَمَّا يَلۡحَقُواْ بِهِمۡۚ
And He is the All-Powerful, the Wise.
وَهۡوَ اَ۬لۡعَزِيزُ اُ۬لۡحَكِيمُ
That is the favor of God, which He grants to whom He wills.
ذَٰلِكَ فَضۡلُ اُ۬للَّهِ يُوتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُۚ
And God holds the immense favor.
وَاَللَّهُ ذُو اُ۬لۡفَضۡلِ اِ۬لۡعَظِيم
The example of those who were entrusted with the Tawrah, and then did not carry it, is that of the donkey carrying travel goods.
مَّثَلُ اُ۬لَّذِينَ حُمِّلُواْ اُ۬لتَّوۡر۪ىٰة ثُّمَّ لَمۡ يَحۡمِلُوهَا كَمَثَلِ اِ۬لۡحِم۪ارِ يَحۡمِلُ أَسۡفَارَۢاۚ
What a detestable example is that of the people who denied the signs of God!
بِيسَ مَثَلُ اُ۬لۡقَوۡمِ اِ۬لَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ اِ۬للَّهِۚ
And God does not guide the wrongdoing people.
وَاَللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي اِ۬لۡقَوۡمَ اَ۬لظَّٰلِمِينَ
Say: "O you, the Reoriented! If you claim that you are the allies of God, excluding other men, then wish for death, if you are veracious."
قُلۡ يَٰأَيُّهَا اَ۬لَّذِينَ هَادُواْ إِن زَعَمۡتُمۡ أَنَّكُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءُ لِلَّهِ مِن دُونِ اِ۬لنَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُاْ اُ۬لۡمَوۡتَ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ
But they will never wish for it, because of what their hands have prepared.
وَلَا يَتَمَنَّوۡنَهُۥ أَبَدَۢا بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ أَيۡدِيهِمۡۚ
And God is All-Knowing of the wrongdoers.
وَاَللَّهُ عَلِيمُۢ بِالظَّٰلِمِينَ
Say: "The death from which you flee will indeed meet you; then you will be brought back to the Knower of what escapes the senses and of what is witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do."
قُلۡ إِنَّ اَ۬لۡمَوۡتَ اَ۬لَّذِي تَفِرُّونَ مِنۡهُ فَإِنَّهُۥ مُلَٰقِيكُمۡۖ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَٰلِمِ اِ۬لۡغَيۡبِ وَاَلشَّهَٰدَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
O you who have believed! When the call is made for the Contact, on this day of reunion, hurry to the remembrance of God and forsake selling.
يَٰأَيُّهَا اَ۬لَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَوٰةِ مِن يَوۡمِ اِ۬لۡجُمُعَةِ فَاَسۡعَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ ذِكۡرِ اِ۬للَّهِ وَذَرُواْ اُ۬لۡبَيۡعَۚ
That is better for you, if you knew.
ذَٰلِكُمۡ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ
Then when the Contact is concluded, deploy within the land and seek from the favor of God, and remember God often, perhaps you will succeed.
فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ اِ۬لصَّلَوٰةُ فَاَنتَشِرُواْ فِي اِ۬لۡأَرۡضِ وَاَبۡتَغُواْ مِن فَضۡلِ اِ۬للَّهِ وَاَذۡكُرُواْ اُ۬للَّهَ كَثِيرٗا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ
But when they see a trade or a distraction, they disperse toward it and leave you standing.
وَإِذَا رَأَوۡاْ تِجَٰرَةً أَوۡ لَهۡوًا اِ۪نفَضُّواْ إِلَيۡهَا وَتَرَكُوكَ قَآئِمٗاۚ
Say: "What is with God is better than distraction and than trade.
قُلۡ مَا عِندَ اَ۬للَّهِ خَيۡرٞ مِّنَ اَ۬للَّهۡو وَّمِنَ اَ۬لتِّجَٰرَةِۚ
And God is the best of providers."
وَاَللَّهُ خَيۡرُ اُ۬لرَّٰزِقِينَ
