En el nombre de Dios, el Todo-Benevolente, el Benevolente. Piérdase el doble poder de obrar del Padre de la llama, y él mismo se ha perdido.
بِسۡمِ اِ۬للَّهِ اِ۬لرَّحۡمَٰنِ اِ۬لرَّحِيمِ تَبَّتۡ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٖ وَتَبَّ
Su bien y lo que ha adquirido no le han servido de nada.
مَا أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
Arderá en un fuego de llama, y su mujer también,
سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارٗا ذَاتَ لَهَبٖ وَاَمۡرَأَتُهُۥ
la que carga sin cesar la leña, una cuerda de fibra trenzada en su garganta.
حَمَّالَةُ اُ۬لۡحَطَبِ فِي جِيدِهَا حَبۡلٞ مِّن مَّسَدِۢ
