Al-Masad
The Man Who Perishes
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Perish the hands of the Father of the Flame, and he himself has perished.
ٮسم الله الرحمں الرحٮم ٮٮٮ ٮدا اٮى لهٮ وٮٮ
His goods and what he acquired have availed him nothing.
ما اعٮى عٮه ماله وما كسٮ
He will burn in a fire of flame, and his wife as well,
سٮصلى ٮارا داٮ لهٮ وامراٮه
the one who ceaselessly carries the firewood, a rope of twisted fiber around her throat.
حماله الحطٮ ڡى حٮدها حٮل مں مسد
