بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
به نام خدا، بی‌اندازه مهربان، مهربان.
دو دستِ پدرِ شعله نابود باد، و خود نابود شده است.
تبت يدا ابي لهب وتب
مالش و آنچه به دست آورد او را به هیچ کار نیامد.
ما اغني عنه ماله وما كسب
او در آتشی از شعله خواهد سوخت، و همسرش نیز،
سيصلي نارا ذات لهب وامراته
آن‌که بی‌وقفه هیزم می‌برد، طنابی از لیفِ تابیده بر گردنش.
