At-Takwir

When the sun is wrapped up, and when the stars disperse, and when the mountains are set in motion, and when the pregnant camels are left untended, and when the wild beasts are gathered, and when the seas are set aboil, and when the Selves are paired, and when the girl buried alive is asked for what offense she was killed, and when the chronicles are deployed, and when the sky is stripped away, and when the Blaze is stoked, and when the Garden is brought near, a Self will know what it has brought forward.

اذا الشمس كورت واذا النجوم انكدرت واذا الجبال سيرت واذا العشار عطلت واذا الوحوش حشرت واذا البحار سجرت واذا النفوس زوجت واذا الموءدة سيلت باى ذنب قتلت واذا الصحف نشرت واذا السماء كشطت واذا الجحيم سعرت واذا الجنة ازلفت علمت نفس ما احضرت

No! I swear by the withdrawing stars, those that run their courses and hide, and by the night when it departs, and by the dawn when it breathes: this is surely the saying of a noble messenger, endowed with power, secure with the Holder of the Edifice, deferred to there, trustworthy.

فلا اقسم بالخنس الجوار الكنس واليل اذا عسعس والصبح اذا تنفس انه لقول رسول كريم ذي قوة عند ذي العرش مكين مطاع ثم امين

And your companion is not deranged.

وما صاحبكم بمجنون

And he certainly saw him on the clear horizon.

ولقد رءاه بالافق المبين

And he is not grudging with what escapes the senses.

وما هو على الغيب بضنين

And it is not the saying of a banished Diverter. So where are you going?

وما هو بقول شيطن رجيم فاين تذهبون

It is only a reminder for all beings, for whoever among you wills to stand straight.

ان هو الا ذكر للعلمين لمن شاء منكم ان يستقيم

And you will not want it unless God wills, the Guardian of all beings.

وما تشاءون الا ان يشاء الله رب العلمين
