The Day of Gathering
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent.
Whatever is in the heavens and on the earth glorifies God, the Sovereign, the Most Holy, the All-Powerful, the Wise.
يسبح لله ما في السموت وما في الارض الملك القدوس العزيز الحكيم
It is He who raised among the people without a prior Scripture a messenger from among themselves, reciting to them His signs, purifying them, and teaching them the Scripture and wisdom, although they were surely, before, in manifest error — and others among them who have not yet joined them.
هو الذي بعث في الامين رسولا منهم يتلوا عليهم ءايته ويزكيهم ويعلمهم الكتب والحكمة وان كانوا من قبل لفي ضلل مبين وءاخرين منهم لما يلحقوا بهم
And He is the All-Powerful, the Wise.
وهو العزيز الحكيم
That is the favor of God, which He grants to whom He wills.
ذلك فضل الله يوتيه من يشاء
And God holds the immense favor.
والله ذو الفضل العظيم
The example of those who were entrusted with the Tawrah, and then did not carry it, is that of the donkey carrying travel goods.
مثل الذين حملوا التورىة ثم لم يحملوها كمثل الحمار يحمل اسفارا
What a detestable example is that of the people who denied the signs of God!
بيس مثل القوم الذين كذبوا بايت الله
And God does not guide the wrongdoing people.
والله لا يهدي القوم الظلمين
Say: "O you, the Reoriented! If you claim that you are the allies of God, excluding other men, then wish for death, if you are veracious."
قل يايها الذين هادوا ان زعمتم انكم اولياء لله من دون الناس فتمنوا الموت ان كنتم صدقين
But they will never wish for it, because of what their hands have prepared.
ولا يتمنونه ابدا بما قدمت ايديهم
And God is All-Knowing of the wrongdoers.
والله عليم بالظلمين
Say: "The death from which you flee will indeed meet you; then you will be brought back to the Knower of what escapes the senses and of what is witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do."
قل ان الموت الذي تفرون منه فانه ملقيكم ثم تردون الى علم الغيب والشهدة فينبيكم بما كنتم تعملون
O you who have believed! When the call is made for the Contact, on this day of reunion, hurry to the remembrance of God and forsake selling.
يايها الذين ءامنوا اذا نودي للصلوة من يوم الجمعة فاسعوا الى ذكر الله وذروا البيع
That is better for you, if you knew.
ذلكم خير لكم ان كنتم تعلمون
Then when the Contact is concluded, deploy within the land and seek from the favor of God, and remember God often, perhaps you will succeed.
فاذا قضيت الصلوة فانتشروا في الارض وابتغوا من فضل الله واذكروا الله كثيرا لعلكم تفلحون
But when they see a trade or a distraction, they disperse toward it and leave you standing.
واذا راوا تجرة او لهوا انفضوا اليها وتركوك قايما
Say: "What is with God is better than distraction and than trade.
قل ما عند الله خير من اللهو ومن التجرة
And God is the best of providers."
والله خير الرزقين
