Sura92

Al-Layl الليل

Toward ease, toward hardship

عم

21 VerseSection XII23 of 37 in the tartīl order

Summary and links in the frieze

In the frieze He sees two paths: giving and guarding oneself lead toward ease, stinginess leads toward hardship.

Read just before, 93 leads here: “You will be satisfied,” the sura promises; the next promises the same to the most guarded, who gives his goods to purify himself. 93

It leads to 91: The most wretched who will burn has a face in the next sura: the most wretched of the Thamud, before the she-camel of God. 91

Closes on “They ask one another”

Read the section from its beginning: sura 114

Im Namen Gottes, des Allwohlwollenden, des Wohlwollenden.

92:1–4

92:21

Und er wird gewiss bald zufrieden sein.
