Kwa jina la Mungu, Mwingi wa Huruma, Mwenye Huruma.
Ipotee mikono miwili ya baba wa mwali, naye mwenyewe amepotea.
تبت يدآ أبي لهب وتب
Mali yake na yale aliyochuma hayakumfaa kitu.
مآ أغنى عنه ماله وما كسب
Ataungua katika moto wa mwali, na mke wake pia,
سيصلى نارا ذات لهب وٱمرأته
yule anayebeba kuni bila kukoma, kamba ya nyuzi zilizosokotwa shingoni mwake.
حمالة ٱلحطب في جيدها حبل من مسد
