En el nombre de Dios, el Todo-Benevolente, el Benevolente. ¡Por la noche cuando lo cubre todo! ¡Por el día cuando se desvela! ¡Por lo que creó al macho y a la hembra! Vuestros esfuerzos son, sin duda, dispersos.
ٮسم الله الرحمں الرحٮم والٮل ادا ٮعسى والٮهار ادا ٮحلى وما حلٯ الدكر والاٮٮى اں سعٮكم لسٮى
En cuanto a quien confiere, se precave y declara verídico lo más bello, le facilitaremos la vía hacia la facilidad.
ڡاما مں اعطى واٮڡى وصدٯ ٮالحسٮى ڡسٮٮسره للٮسرى
Pero en cuanto a quien es avaro, se ve rico y desmiente lo más bello, le facilitaremos la vía hacia la dificultad.
واما مں ٮحل واسٮعٮى وكدٮ ٮالحسٮى ڡسٮٮسره للعسرى
Y su bien no le servirá de nada cuando caiga.
وما ٮعٮى عٮه ماله ادا ٮردى
A Nosotros Nos corresponde, sin duda, la guía, y a Nosotros pertenecen, sin duda, la vida última y la vida primera.
اں علٮٮا للهدى واں لٮا للاحره والاولى
Os he advertido pues de un fuego que flamea, en el que solo arderá el más desdichado, el que ha desmentido y ha vuelto la espalda.
ڡاٮدرٮكم ٮارا ٮلطى لا ٮصلٮها الا الاسڡى الدى كدٮ وٮولى
Y de él será mantenido a distancia el más precavido, el que da sus bienes para purificarse,
وسٮحٮٮها الاٮڡى الدى ٮوٮى ماله ٮٮركى
y nadie tiene junto a él beneficio alguno que haya de ser retribuido, sino para buscar la dirección de su Tutor el Altísimo.
وما لاحد عٮده مں ٮعمه ٮحرى الا اٮٮعا وحه رٮه الاعلى
Y estará ciertamente pronto satisfecho.
