Em nome de Deus, o Todo-Benevolente, o Benevolente. Pela noite quando recobre tudo! Pelo dia quando se desvela! Pelo que criou o macho e a fêmea! Os vossos esforços são, deveras, dispersos.
ٮسم الله الرحمں الرحٮم والٮل ادا ٮعسى والٮهار ادا ٮحلى وما حلٯ الدكر والاٮٮى اں سعٮكم لسٮى
Quanto àquele que confere, se acautela e declara verídico o mais belo, Nós lhe facilitaremos a via rumo à facilidade.
ڡاما مں اعطى واٮڡى وصدٯ ٮالحسٮى ڡسٮٮسره للٮسرى
Mas quanto àquele que é avaro, se vê rico e desmente o mais belo, Nós lhe facilitaremos a via rumo à dificuldade.
واما مں ٮحل واسٮعٮى وكدٮ ٮالحسٮى ڡسٮٮسره للعسرى
E o seu bem de nada lhe servirá quando cair.
وما ٮعٮى عٮه ماله ادا ٮردى
É a Nós, deveras, que incumbe a orientação, e é a Nós, deveras, que pertencem a vida derradeira e a vida primeira.
اں علٮٮا للهدى واں لٮا للاحره والاولى
Eu vos adverti, pois, de um fogo que se inflama, no qual não arderá senão o mais miserável, aquele que desmentiu e voltou as costas.
ڡاٮدرٮكم ٮارا ٮلطى لا ٮصلٮها الا الاسڡى الدى كدٮ وٮولى
E dele será mantido à distância o mais acautelado, aquele que dá os seus bens para se purificar,
وسٮحٮٮها الاٮڡى الدى ٮوٮى ماله ٮٮركى
e ninguém tem junto dele uma mercê a ser retribuída, senão para buscar a direção do seu Tutor o Altíssimo.
وما لاحد عٮده مں ٮعمه ٮحرى الا اٮٮعا وحه رٮه الاعلى
E ele estará certamente em breve satisfeito.
