صفصف

A flat and bare expanse, without any relief.

Uses

1. صَفْصَف → "level" ("a level plain") : the surface that nothing raises or hollows.

   • «فَيَذَرُهَا قَاعًۭا صَفْصَفًۭا» — "letting them be a level plain" (20:106)

Evidence from the text

The single use describes the scattered mountains: nothing remains of them but a plain "wherein you will see neither crookedness nor rise" (20:106). The rest of the verse gives the meaning itself: nothing rises there, nothing sinks.
