and who created all the pairs, and made for you, among vessels and cattle, that which you ride, that you may establish yourselves upon their backs, then remember the blessing of your Guardian once established upon them, and say: "Glory be to the One who has subjected this to us, for we were not capable of it by ourselves; and to our Guardian we shall surely return."

"Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Blaze, then pour over his head the punishment of boiling water. Taste!"

Or do those who have perpetrated evil deeds think that We will make them like those who have believed and done sound deeds, equal in their life and their death?

And their example in the Injil is that of a seed that puts forth its shoot, strengthens it, and it thickens and stands straight upon its stalk, dazzling the sowers — so as to enrage through them those who disown.

Burn in it: whether you are patient or not, it is the same for you.

The companions of the Fire and the companions of the Garden are not equal.

In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Glorify the name of your Guardian, the Most High, who created and proportioned, and who measured and guided, and who brought forth the pasture, and then made it dark wisps of straw.

In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. By the sun and its morning brightness! By the moon when it comes in its wake! By the day when it unveils it! By the night when it covers it! By the sky and what built it! By the earth and what spread it! By a Self, and what proportioned it, then inspired it with its transgression and its guardedness! He has certainly succeeded who purifies it, and he has certainly failed who buries it.

The Thamud denied, in their immoderation, when the most wretched among them was raised up. The messenger of God said to them, "The she-camel of God, and her watering!" But they denied him and hamstrung her. So their Guardian pounded them for their offense and leveled it.
