Uses

1. لَا ضَيْرَ → "No hurt!" : the denial of any feared hurt.

Evidence from the text

The word appears only once (26:50). Fir'awn has just threatened the illusionists who became believers to cut off their hands and feet and crucify them (26:49); they answer in a word, and give the reason: "It is to our Guardian that we turn" (26:50). The hurt denied is that of the threat: it can do nothing against this return.
