At-Tahrim
The Prohibition
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. O Informant! Why do you hold as prohibited what God has permitted you, seeking the approval of your wives?
ٮسم الله الرحمں الرحٮم ٮاٮها الٮٮى لم ٮحرم ما احل الله لك ٮٮٮعى مرصاٮ اروحك
And God is Most-Forgiving, Benevolent.
والله عڡور رحٮم
God has fixed for you the release from your oaths,
ڡد ڡرص الله لكم ٮحله اٮمٮكم
and God is your nearest Guarantor.
والله مولٮكم
And He is the All-Knowing, the Wise.
وهو العلٮم الحكٮم
And when the Informant confided a discourse in secret to one of his wives,
واد اسر الٮٮى الى ٮعص اروحه حدٮٮا
and she informed others of it, and God made it appear to him, he had part of it recognized and passed over another part.
ڡلما ٮٮاٮ ٮه واطهره الله علٮه عرڡ ٮعصه واعرص عں ٮعص
Then, when he informed her of it, she said: "Who informed you of this?" He said: "The All-Knowing, the Intimately Acquainted informed me."
ڡلما ٮٮاها ٮه ڡالٮ مں اٮٮاك هدا ڡال ٮٮاٮى العلٮم الحٮٮر
If you two turn back to God — for your cores have indeed bent —
اں ٮٮوٮا الى الله ڡڡد صعٮ ڡلوٮكما
but if you support one another against him, then God is indeed his nearest Guarantor, and Jibril, and those who are sound among the believers,
واں ٮطهرا علٮه ڡاں الله هو مولٮه وحٮرٮل وصلح المومٮٮں
and the Agents, moreover, are his support.
والملٮكه ٮعد دلك طهٮر
It may be that his Guardian, if he repudiates you, will give him in exchange wives better than you: true to God alone, believing, devoted, repentant, obedient, free in their movement, previously married or virgins.
عسى رٮه اں طلڡكں اں ٮٮدله اروحا حٮرا مٮكں مسلمٮ مومٮٮ ڡٮٮٮ ٮٮٮٮ عٮدٮ سٮحٮ ٮٮٮٮ واٮكارا
O you who have believed! Guard your Selves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is men and stones, over which are Agents, harsh and severe, who do not disobey God in what He commands them, and who do what they are commanded.
ٮاٮها الدٮں امٮوا ڡوا اٮڡسكم واهلٮكم ٮارا وڡودها الٮاس والححاره علٮها ملٮكه علاط سداد لا ٮعصوں الله ما امرهم وٮڡعلوں ما ٮومروں
O you who disowned! Do not make excuses today: you are only being recompensed for what you used to do.
ٮاٮها الدٮں كڡروا لا ٮعٮدروا الٮوم اٮما ٮحروں ما كٮٮم ٮعملوں
O you who have believed! Turn back to God with a sincere turning back. It may be that your Guardian will cover your misdeeds and admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow, on the day when God will not disgrace the Informant nor those who believed with him; their light will hurry before them and on their right.
ٮاٮها الدٮں امٮوا ٮوٮوا الى الله ٮوٮه ٮصوحا عسى رٮكم اں ٮكڡر عٮكم سٮاٮكم وٮدحلكم حٮٮ ٮحرى مں ٮحٮها الاٮهر ٮوم لا ٮحرى الله الٮٮى والدٮں امٮوا معه ٮورهم ٮسعى ٮٮں اٮدٮهم وٮاٮمٮهم
They will say: "Our Guardian, complete our light for us and forgive us."
ٮڡولوں رٮٮا اٮمم لٮا ٮورٮا واعڡر لٮا
You are indeed capable of all things.
اٮك على كل سى ڡدٮر
O Informant! Strive against those who disown and the hypocrites, and be firm with them.
ٮاٮها الٮٮى حهد الكڡار والمٮڡڡٮں واعلط علٮهم
And their refuge will be Jahannam,
وماوٮهم حهٮم
and what an evil destination!
وٮٮس المصٮر
God multiplies an example for those who disowned: the wife of Nuh and the wife of Lut.
صرٮ الله مٮلا للدٮں كڡروا امراٮ ٮوح وامراٮ لوط
They were under two of Our sound obedient ones, yet they betrayed them, so those two were of no avail to them against God,
كاٮٮا ٮحٮ عٮدٮں مں عٮادٮا صلحٮں ڡحاٮٮاهما ڡلم ٮعٮٮا عٮهما مں الله سٮا
and it was said: "Enter, both of you, the Fire with those who enter."
وڡٮل ادحلا الٮار مع الدحلٮں
And God multiplies an example for those who believe: the wife of Fir'awn, when she said: "My Guardian, build for me, near You, a house in the Garden, and save me from Fir'awn and his doing, and save me from the wrongdoing people."
وصرٮ الله مٮلا للدٮں امٮوا امراٮ ڡرعوں اد ڡالٮ رٮ اٮں لى عٮدك ٮٮٮا ڡى الحٮه وٮحٮى مں ڡرعوں وعمله وٮحٮى مں الڡوم الطلمٮں
And Maryam, daughter of Imran, who protected her intimacy; We breathed into it of Our Influx. She declared true the words of her Guardian and His scriptures, and was among the devoted.
ومرٮم اٮٮٮ عمرں الٮى احصٮٮ ڡرحها ڡٮڡحٮا ڡٮه مں روحٮا وصدڡٮ ٮكلمٮ رٮها وكٮٮه وكاٮٮ مں الڡٮٮٮں
