Al-Qiyama

In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. No! I swear by the Day of Appearance; and no! I swear by the self-censuring Self.

ٮسم الله الرحمں الرحٮم لا اڡسم ٮٮوم الڡٮمه ولا اڡسم ٮالٮڡس اللوامه

We are able to proportion even his phalanges.

ڡدرٮں على اں ٮسوى ٮٮاٮه

But the human being desires to persist in depravity, there, before him.

ٮل ٮرٮد الاٮسں لٮڡحر امامه

He asks, "When will the Day of Appearance be?"

ٮسل اٮاں ٮوم الڡٮمه

So when the sight is blinded with glare, and the moon eclipses, and the sun and the moon are joined together, the human being will say on that Day, "Where to flee?"

ڡادا ٮرٯ الٮصر وحسڡ الڡمر وحمع السمس والڡمر ٮڡول الاٮسں ٮومٮد اٮں المڡر

By no means! There is no bulwark.

كلا لا ورر

To your Guardian, that Day, will be the stable place.

الى رٮك ٮومٮد المسٮڡر

The human being will be informed, that Day, of what he put forward and kept back.

ٮٮٮوا الاٮسں ٮومٮد ٮما ڡدم واحر

Rather, the human being is clear-sighted over himself, even if he puts forward his excuses.

ٮل الاٮسں على ٮڡسه ٮصٮره ولو الڡى معادٮره

Do not move your tongue with it to hasten it;

لا ٮحرك ٮه لساٮك لٮعحل ٮه

indeed, upon Us is its assembling and its recitation.

اں علٮٮا حمعه وڡراٮه

then, when We have read it, follow its recitation; then, indeed, upon Us is its explanation.

ڡادا ڡراٮه ڡاٮٮع ڡراٮه ٮم اں علٮٮا ٮٮاٮه

By no means! But they love the immediate life, and forsake the last life.

كلا ٮل ٮحٮوں العاحله وٮدروں الاحره

Some faces, that Day, will be radiant, looking toward their Guardian.

وحوه ٮومٮد ٮاصره الى رٮها ٮاطره

And some faces, that Day, will be gloomy, presuming that a catastrophe is about to be inflicted on them.

ووحوه ٮومٮد ٮاسره ٮطں اں ٮڡعل ٮها ڡاڡره

By no means! When it reaches the collarbones, and it is said, "Who will raise up?" and he presumes that it is the parting, and the leg is intertwined with the leg — to your Guardian, that Day, will be the drive.

كلا ادا ٮلعٮ الٮراڡى وڡٮل مں راٯ وطں اٮه الڡراٯ والٮڡٮ الساٯ ٮالساٯ الى رٮك ٮومٮد المساٯ

For he neither declared true, nor made contact,

ڡلا صدٯ ولا صلى

but he denied and turned his back,

ولكں كدٮ وٮولى

then he went to his people, walking in vain pride.

ٮم دهٮ الى اهله ٮٮمطى

Closer to you, and closer! Then closer to you, and closer!

اولى لك ڡاولى ٮم اولى لك ڡاولى

Does the human being think that he will be left without purpose?

اٮحسٮ الاٮسں اں ٮٮرك سدى

Was he not a drop of emitted semen? Then he was a clinging form; then He created and proportioned him, and made of him two mates, the male and the female.

الم ٮك ٮطڡه مں مٮى ٮمٮى ٮم كاں علڡه ڡحلٯ ڡسوى ڡحعل مٮه الروحٮں الدكر والاٮٮى

Is that One not able to bring the dead back to life?

الٮس دلك ٮڡدر على اں ٮحى الموٮى
