Al-Ghashiya

In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Has the discourse concerning the All-Covering reached you?

ٮسم الله الرحمں الرحٮم هل اٮٮك حدٮٮ العسٮه

Some faces, that Day, will be humble, toiling, exhausted. They will be made to burn in a scorching fire, given drink from a boiling spring.

وحوه ٮومٮد حسعه عامله ٮاصٮه ٮصلى ٮارا حامٮه ٮسڡى مں عٮں اٮٮه

They will have no food except dry thorns, which neither fatten nor avail against hunger.

لٮس لهم طعام الا مں صرٮع لا ٮسمں ولا ٮعٮى مں حوع

Some faces, that Day, will be in bliss, pleased with their effort, in a lofty garden, where no idle talk will be heard.

وحوه ٮومٮد ٮاعمه لسعٮها راصٮه ڡى حٮه عالٮه لا ٮسمع ڡٮها لعٮه

Therein is a flowing spring.

ڡٮها عٮں حارٮه

Therein are elevated couches, and goblets set out, and cushions lined up, and carpets spread out.

ڡٮها سرر مرڡوعه واكواٮ موصوعه وٮمارٯ مصڡوڡه ورراٮى مٮٮوٮه

Do they not look at the massive animals, how they were created? And at the sky, how it was elevated? And at the mountains, how they were set up? And at the earth, how it was laid flat?

اڡلا ٮٮطروں الى الاٮل كٮڡ حلڡٮ والى السما كٮڡ رڡعٮ والى الحٮال كٮڡ ٮصٮٮ والى الارص كٮڡ سطحٮ

So remind; you are only one who reminds.

ڡدكر اٮما اٮٮ مدكر

You have no power to compel them.

لسٮ علٮهم ٮمصٮطر

Except one who has turned his back and disowned — God will punish him with the greatest punishment.

الا مں ٮولى وكڡر ڡٮعدٮه الله العداٮ الاكٮر

To Us is their return, then upon Us is their reckoning.
