Al-Mujadala

In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. God has certainly heard the saying of the one who argues with you about her husband and complains to God; and God hears your exchange.

ٮسم الله الرحمں الرحٮم ڡد سمع الله ڡول الٮى ٮحدلك ڡى روحها وٮسٮكى الى الله والله ٮسمع ٮحاوركما

Those among you who pronounce the exclusion formula against their women — they are not their mothers.

الدٮں ٮطهروں مٮكم مں ٮساٮهم ما هں امهٮهم

Their mothers are none but those who bore them.

اں امهٮهم الا الى ولدٮهم

And they are surely saying a disavowed saying and a falsification.

واٮهم لٮڡولوں مٮكرا مں الڡول ورورا

And those who pronounce the exclusion formula against their women, then return to what they said, shall restore the independence of a person bound by a debt before they touch each other again.

والدٮں ٮطهروں مں ٮساٮهم ٮم ٮعودوں لما ڡالوا ڡٮحرٮر رڡٮه مں ڡٮل اں ٮٮماسا

This is what you are exhorted by.

دلكم ٮوعطوں ٮه

Whoever finds no means shall abstain two consecutive months before they touch each other again.

ڡمں لم ٮحد ڡصٮام سهرٮں مٮٮاٮعٮں مں ڡٮل اں ٮٮماسا

Whoever cannot shall feed sixty destitute people.

ڡمں لم ٮسٮطع ڡاطعام سٮٮں مسكٮٮا

This, so that you may believe in God and His messenger.

دلك لٮومٮوا ٮالله ورسوله

And those are the limits of God.

وٮلك حدود الله

Those who set themselves against God and His messenger will indeed be brought low, as were those before them.

اں الدٮں ٮحادوں الله ورسوله كٮٮوا كما كٮٮ الدٮں مں ڡٮلهم

Yet We have sent down clear signs.

وڡد اٮرلٮا اٮٮ ٮٮٮٮ

The day God raises them all and informs them of what they did.

ٮوم ٮٮعٮهم الله حمٮعا ڡٮٮٮٮهم ٮما عملوا

God has enumerated it, while they have forgotten it.

احصٮه الله وٮسوه

Have you not seen that God knows what is in the heavens and what is on the earth?

الم ٮر اں الله ٮعلم ما ڡى السموٮ وما ڡى الارص

There is no secret talk among three but He is their fourth, nor among five but He is their sixth, nor fewer nor more than that but He is with them wherever they are.

ما ٮكوں مں ٮحوى ٮلٮه الا هو راٮعهم ولا حمسه الا هو سادسهم ولا ادٮى مں دلك ولا اكٮر الا هو معهم اٮں ما كاٮوا

Then He will inform them of what they did, on the Day of Appearance.

ٮم ٮٮٮٮهم ٮما عملوا ٮوم الڡٮمه

Have you not seen those who were forbidden secret talk, then go back to what they were forbidden, and hold secret talk in transgression, hostility, and disobedience to the messenger?

الم ٮر الى الدٮں ٮهوا عں الٮحوى ٮم ٮعودوں لما ٮهوا عٮه وٮٮٮحوں ٮالاٮم والعدوں ومعصٮٮ الرسول

And when they come to you, they greet you with a greeting God never greeted you with, and say within themselves: "Why does God not punish us for what we say?"

وادا حاوك حٮوك ٮما لم ٮحٮك ٮه الله وٮڡولوں ڡى اٮڡسهم لولا ٮعدٮٮا الله ٮما ٮڡول

Jahannam suffices them.

حسٮهم حهٮم

They will burn in it.

ٮصلوٮها

O you who have believed! When you hold secret talk, do not hold it in transgression, hostility, and disobedience to the messenger.

ٮاٮها الدٮں امٮوا ادا ٮٮحٮٮم ڡلا ٮٮٮحوا ٮالاٮم والعدوں ومعصٮٮ الرسول

But hold secret talk in virtue and guardedness.

وٮٮحوا ٮالٮر والٮڡوى

Secret talk comes only from the Diverter, to grieve those who believe; but it cannot harm them in the least, except by God's leave.

اٮما الٮحوى مں السٮطں لٮحرں الدٮں امٮوا ولٮس ٮصارهم سٮا الا ٮادں الله

O you who have believed! When you are told to make room in assemblies, make room; God will make room for you.

ٮاٮها الدٮں امٮوا ادا ڡٮل لكم ٮڡسحوا ڡى المحلس ڡاڡسحوا ٮڡسح الله لكم

And when you are told to rise up, rise up; God will elevate in degrees those among you who believe and those given knowledge.

وادا ڡٮل اٮسروا ڡاٮسروا ٮرڡع الله الدٮں امٮوا مٮكم والدٮں اوٮوا العلم درحٮ

O you who have believed! When you hold secret talk with the messenger, advance charity before your secret talk.

ٮاٮها الدٮں امٮوا ادا ٮحٮٮم الرسول ڡڡدموا ٮٮں ٮدى ٮحوٮكم صدڡه

That is better for you, and cleaner.

دلك حٮر لكم واطهر

Were you apprehensive about advancing acts of charity before your secret talks?

اسڡڡٮم اں ٮڡدموا ٮٮں ٮدى ٮحوٮكم صدڡٮ

Since you did not do it, and God has turned toward you with clemency, maintain the Contact and give pure liberality.

ڡاد لم ٮڡعلوا وٮاٮ الله علٮكم ڡاڡٮموا الصلوه واٮوا الركوه

And defer to God and His messenger.

واطٮعوا الله ورسوله

God has prepared for them a severe punishment.

اعد الله لهم عداٮا سدٮدا

Neither their goods nor their children will avail them at all against God.

لں ٮعٮى عٮهم امولهم ولا اولدهم مں الله سٮا

The day God raises them all, they will take oaths to Him as they take oaths to you, thinking they stand on something.

ٮوم ٮٮعٮهم الله حمٮعا ڡٮحلڡوں له كما ٮحلڡوں لكم وٮحسٮوں اٮهم على سى

The Diverter has taken hold of them and made them forget the remembrance of God.

اسٮحود علٮهم السٮطں ڡاٮسٮهم دكر الله

Those are the party of the Diverter.

اولٮك حرٮ السٮطں

God has written: "I shall surely overcome, I and My messengers."

كٮٮ الله لاعلٮں اٮا ورسلى

You will not find a people who believe in God and the Last Day loving those who set themselves against God and His messenger, even if they be their fathers, their sons, their brothers, or their kinsmen.

لا ٮحد ڡوما ٮومٮوں ٮالله والٮوم الاحر ٮوادوں مں حاد الله ورسوله ولو كاٮوا اٮاهم او اٮٮاهم او احوٮهم او عسٮرٮهم

These are the ones in whose cores He has inscribed faith, and whom He has fortified with an Influx from Him, and whom He will admit into gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding there eternally.

اولٮك كٮٮ ڡى ڡلوٮهم الاٮمں واٮدهم ٮروح مٮه وٮدحلهم حٮٮ ٮحرى مں ٮحٮها الاٮهر حلدٮں ڡٮها

God is satisfied with them, and they are satisfied with Him.

رصى الله عٮهم ورصوا عٮه

Those are the party of God.
