Al-Mulk
The Dominion
In the name of God, the All-Benevolent, the Benevolent. Blessed is He in whose hand is the dominion, and He is capable of all things,
ٮسم الله الرحمں الرحٮم ٮٮرك الدى ٮٮده الملك وهو على كل سى ڡدٮر
who created death and life to test you: which of you acts best.
الدى حلٯ الموٮ والحٮوه لٮٮلوكم اٮكم احسں عملا
And He is the All-Powerful, the Most-Forgiving.
وهو العرٮر العڡور
He who created seven heavens in layers.
الدى حلٯ سٮع سموٮ طٮاڡا
You do not see in the creation of the All-Benevolent any disharmony.
ما ٮرى ڡى حلٯ الرحمں مں ٮڡوٮ
Return your gaze: do you see any fissure?
ڡارحع الٮصر هل ٮرى مں ڡطور
Then return your gaze twice more: your gaze will return to you rebuffed and breathless.
ٮم ارحع الٮصر كرٮٮں ٮٮڡلٮ الٮك الٮصر حاسٮا وهو حسٮر
We have indeed adorned the nearest heaven with lamps, and made them missiles against the Diverters, and We have made ready for them the punishment of the Inferno.
ولڡد رٮٮا السما الدٮٮا ٮمصٮٮح وحعلٮها رحوما للسٮطٮں واعٮدٮا لهم عداٮ السعٮر
And for those who disowned their Guardian is the punishment of Jahannam,
وللدٮں كڡروا ٮرٮهم عداٮ حهٮم
and what an evil destination!
وٮٮس المصٮر
When they are thrown into it, they will hear it roaring as it boils, almost splitting with fury.
ادا الڡوا ڡٮها سمعوا لها سهٮڡا وهى ٮڡور ٮكاد ٮمٮر مں العٮط
Every time a crowd is thrown into it, its custodians will ask them: "Did no warner come to you?"
كلما الڡى ڡٮها ڡوح سالهم حرٮٮها الم ٮاٮكم ٮدٮر
They will say: "Yes, a warner did come to us, but we denied him and said: 'God has not sent down anything, you are only in great error.'"
ڡالوا ٮلى ڡد حاٮا ٮدٮر ڡكدٮٮا وڡلٮا ما ٮرل الله مں سى اں اٮٮم الا ڡى صلل كٮٮر
And they will say: "If we had listened or reasoned, we would not be among the companions of the Inferno."
وڡالوا لو كٮا ٮسمع او ٮعڡل ما كٮا ڡى اصحٮ السعٮر
So they will acknowledge their offense:
ڡاعٮرڡوا ٮدٮٮهم
so away with the companions of the Inferno!
ڡسحڡا لاصحٮ السعٮر
Those who dread their Guardian even though He escapes their senses will indeed have forgiveness and a great reward.
اں الدٮں ٮحسوں رٮهم ٮالعٮٮ لهم معڡره واحر كٮٮر
And whether you keep your saying secret or say it aloud,
واسروا ڡولكم او احهروا ٮه
He is All-Knowing of what the chests contain.
اٮه علٮم ٮداٮ الصدور
Would He who created not know, while He is the Subtle, the Intimately Acquainted?
الا ٮعلم مں حلٯ وهو اللطٮڡ الحٮٮر
It is He who made the earth docile for you; so walk through its expanses and eat from His provision.
هو الدى حعل لكم الارص دلولا ڡامسوا ڡى مٮاكٮها وكلوا مں ررڡه
And to Him is the Deployment.
والٮه الٮسور
Do you feel secure that He who is in the heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you, whereupon it sways?
امٮٮم مں ڡى السما اں ٮحسڡ ٮكم الارص ڡادا هى ٮمور
Or do you feel secure that He who is in the heaven will not send against you a storm of stones?
ام امٮٮم مں ڡى السما اں ٮرسل علٮكم حاصٮا
Then you will know how My warning was.
ڡسٮعلموں كٮڡ ٮدٮر
Those before them certainly denied,
ولڡد كدٮ الدٮں مں ڡٮلهم
and how was My disavowal!
ڡكٮڡ كاں ٮكٮر
Have they not seen the birds above them, aligning their wings and folding them?
اولم ٮروا الى الطٮر ڡوڡهم صڡٮ وٮڡٮصں
Nothing holds them up except the All-Benevolent.
ما ٮمسكهں الا الرحمں
He is All-Seeing of all things.
اٮه ٮكل سى ٮصٮر
Or who is it that would be an army for you and help you, besides the All-Benevolent?
امں هدا الدى هو حٮد لكم ٮٮصركم مں دوں الرحمں
Those who disown are only in delusion.
اں الكڡروں الا ڡى عرور
Or who is it that would provide for you, if He held back His provision?
امں هدا الدى ٮررڡكم اں امسك ررڡه
Yet they are mired in insolence and recoil.
ٮل لحوا ڡى عٮو وٮڡور
Is he who walks fallen on his face better guided, or he who walks upright on a straight path?
اڡمں ٮمسى مكٮا على وحهه اهدى امں ٮمسى سوٮا على صرط مسٮڡٮم
Say: "It is He who brought you into being and appointed for you hearing, sight, and Consciences.
ڡل هو الدى اٮساكم وحعل لكم السمع والاٮصر والاڡده
How little you are grateful!"
ڡلٮلا ما ٮسكروں
Say: "It is He who scattered you upon the earth, and to Him you will be gathered."
ڡل هو الدى دراكم ڡى الارص والٮه ٮحسروں
And they say: "When will this promise be, if you are veracious?"
وٮڡولوں مٮى هدا الوعد اں كٮٮم صدڡٮں
Say: "The knowledge is only with God; I am only a clear warner."
ڡل اٮما العلم عٮد الله واٮما اٮا ٮدٮر مٮٮں
Then, when they see it near, vexation will be stamped upon the faces of those who disowned, and it will be said: "This is what you used to call for."
ڡلما راوه رلڡه سٮٮ وحوه الدٮں كڡروا وڡٮل هدا الدى كٮٮم ٮه ٮدعوں
Say: "Do you see? Whether God annihilates me and those with me, or has benevolence on us, who will grant asylum to those who disown from a painful punishment?"
ڡل ارٮٮم اں اهلكٮى الله ومں معى او رحمٮا ڡمں ٮحٮر الكڡرٮں مں عداٮ الٮم
Say: "He is the All-Benevolent; we believe in Him and to Him we entrust ourselves.
ڡل هو الرحمں امٮا ٮه وعلٮه ٮوكلٮا
You will soon know who is in manifest error."
ڡسٮعلموں مں هو ڡى صلل مٮٮں
Say: "Do you see? If your water were to sink into the ground, who then would bring you spring water?"
ڡل ارٮٮم اں اصٮح ماوكم عورا ڡمں ٮاٮٮكم ٮما معٮں
